When Kanwal dances in the court of the Sultan of Gujarat, he is instantly smitten by her. He keeps her in his palace and asks her to marry him. But Kanwal refuses – she will only marry her beloved, Kehar.

The irate Sultan decides that he must capture and kill Kehar. A desperate chase develops, as the Sultan’s men try to catch a fleeing Kehar. When force fails and Kehar escapes, they decide to try trickery. Kehar, meanwhile, has only one aim – to rescue Kanwal from the Sultan.
